Community Action Agencies across the country are taking steps to assist with responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in their local communities. To this effort, Opportunities for Otsego has created a one-stop webpage for Otsego County residents to get information on COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and other valuable resources. Transportation Assistance: If you or a loved one have a vaccination appointment but no way to get to the vaccination site you can call ahead to Getthere Mobility Management855.373.4040, Monday-Friday between 7:00AM-7:00PM. Otsego County residents age 60 or older may call the Otsego County Office for the Aging & NY Connects at 607.547.4232 or 607.547.4390. The Office for the Aging can also help seniors navigate the online/phone appointment system.

OFO Seeking Head Start Director
From pregnancy to preschool, Head Start promotes family health and well-being and prepares young children for kindergarten and life beyond school. Opportunities for Otsego is seeking a Head Start and Early Head Start Director to lead Head Start, Early Head Start and Universal Pre-Kindergarten class rooms and home-visiting components in whole family approaches in early childhood development.

Upcoming Events
02.15.2021 - Agency Closed: OFO will be closed in recognition of President's Day. The Emergency Housing and VIP shelter and hotlines will still be available to those with a need. Assistance is available by calling Emergency Housing (607.432.8318) and the Violence Intervention Program (607.432.4855).
02.15.2021-02.19.2021 - Head Start Winter Break: Head Start and UPK will be closed for winter break. Homebased and center based Early Head Start remains open.
